| Dan. 7:9-10 | "I watched till thrones were *put in place, (Or set up) And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The *court (Or judgment) was seated, And the books were opened." |
| Mal. 3:16-17 | "Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who *meditate on (Or esteem) His name. 'They shall be Mine,' says the Lord of hosts, 'On the day that I make them My *jewels. (Lit. special treasure) And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.' " |
| Luke 10:18-20 | "And He said to them, 'I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are wirtten in heaven.' " |
| Phil. 4:3 | "And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life." See (Blotted Out Of The Book Of Life? - Oh Yes!) |
| Heb.12:22-24 | "But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the *general assembly (festal gathering) and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made *perfect, (complete) to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel." See (The Blood Is The Life) |
| Rev. 20:12 | "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books." See (The Refiners Fire Tests Our Works) |

I don't want to miss a thing you have for me, I want to dot every i, and cross every t; In this old world You surely have a plan For every Christian that is truly grand. You made up a job for each of your children To complete on earth while we are here, then, At the end of Your time, before You we all stand, Beholding the Book of Life in Your hand. A parchment given for each one to see Brings every single life back to memory; The events of our lives we then will behold, Instantly known to every sheep in the fold. If our job we completed to God's lasting glory Gems will then form for the crown given from Thee; But if the job done on self heaped glory While we were on earth ashes are what we see. I don't want to stand on that judgment day Before my Lord Jesus with nothing to say; Embarrassed before God, humiliated, in grief, Because the life I had led was filled with unbelief. |
